As an aside....your #1 goal in determining gauge placement should be how accessible the gauges are to you during the time you'll need to watch them. Some people tune while driving, others tune while watching the replay.Looking down to the bottom din slot to see which gauge just blinked as you're approaching turn 4 at the top of 4th is a bad thing to be doing. Likewise, looking down to read a gauge while going down the highway is also bad. Obviously, this is one of the biggest reasons people buy good gauges with long recording abilities (to cover full laps) and peak/hold features. Eyes on the road kiddies
